Engineering Elegance: Invisible Deck Support

Lastly, a 20 foot deep outdoor deck with a 10 foot cantilever over the basement from the main floor above had the same floor depth restriction.  Here I used my last framing solution – upending the main beams flush into the concrete deck surface not visible below the finished floors inside or out.
